Well, I was stumbling around on Facebook and I noticed something weird, so I Googled it and well I am not the only person who thinks this. But if you were to look at the Default picture for the females on Facebook, you have you ever noticed that it looks like Darth Vader from Star Wars?? Yeah Someone has took the time to do a side by side image of Darth Vader's head and the Facebook female default

Dear Cell Phones
Hey everyone, I know it has been a while.. yet again.. but anyways, its my life, my blog.. I never promised you a set amount of blogs a day.. so take it as i give them.. I can only process so much data in a day :P
Cell phones, there are so many things I can focus on with cell phones, but first of all I am going to talk about the cell phone "message templates". These are designed to make cell phone typing easy, like say if you are at a meeting or something like that and you get a message, well instead of looking down and typing out the words "Sry hun, I am at a meeting at the moment get back to you later" there is a pre-defined (or you can create it) template saying "I am at a meeting Get back to you later" or something like that.
The problem with this that I am having, is that it is supposed to be easier to use than just plain out typing the message. To be honest it is a-lot easier if you are the kind of person who has the ancient phones that has only a number pad (which i feel sorry for ya), but when someone has a "Smart phone" or a phone with the full "QWERTY" Keyboard on it, it is much simpler to just type it out than to go through all the steps to have to read the screen and click go here.. then go to another menu and finally you are at the template menu.. then you have to find the one you want to use, after that find who you want to send it to because by that time you have already exited out of you'r message that you were going to reply to. So basically what I am saying is that templates are hard to use (unless you have mapped it out in your head and use it constantly) and basically render useless, because no matter what you will be fiddling around with your phone during a meeting.
My suggestion? Well almost all phones that I know of has the all famous speed dial, that you just push a set of numbers and the number you want comes up and you just hit call and it calls them. Well use this same tactic on the texting, but except of having it push a certain number, maybe have special keys called memory keys, so that you can set M1 up to say a certain thing M2 to say a certain thing.. (ect..) and then when you get a message all you would do is hit reply and then hit the M1 key to say "sorry cannot talk" then hit reply, simple as that :-)
Hope you enjoyed this, I know I did, tell me what you think and comment as always have a good one :)

When it starts to snow.
Hello everyone that drives. I want to talk about something that really gets on my nerves, How when it starts to snow some people automatically start to drive 10 under the speed limit. I understand you are afraid of the little snow flakes getting under your tires and making you loose control but c'mon people. The main reason the highways are usually clear when back roads are bad as hell is basically because the highways are more traveled and they stay warm. Back roads are hardly traveled and it makes them ice over faster.
So what I am trying to say is that I can understand if there is a little ice on the highway to slow down, but if it just begins to snow go the speed limit. I believe the highways ice over so quickly is because when it starts to snow everyone's automatic instinct is to slow down, well the slower you go the cooler your tires get, and the cooler the tires get the better chance of the highways getting cold enough for snow to actually stick. So please When it FIRST starts snowfall Drive normal, and maybe.. JUST MAYBE The highways wont be bad! Thanks, tell me what you think. Have a good one everyone!
OOH and PS Just because you have 4 wheel drive, you are not invincible!

The pain..
I want for it to be okay
I want it to be all Right.
Every night I sit and fight the urge
The urge to fight myself
Caged inside my mind I wonder
what I can do to break out,
just to see the light of day.
When I hit the surface
it is raining.
Trapped in the rain wet and miserable,
I find it is better in my mind.
It is too late...
I cannot move on, no easy way out
I see what happens with the cheep tricks out,
if I fail, I loose more.
If I succeed I gain everything
To loose the pain, and move on
To triumph over my animal instincts
Is more than I can think

Headache
Hey everyone, I have a headache. I can remember a while ago when I was just a young child I used to get frequent migraines almost daily, it was bad. I used to stay up all the night crying trying to get my bearings to sleep, but I just couldn't do it. Eventually I started to take my moms pills that she had for migraines, and it helped =D .
I took the tiny pill and let it melt under my tounge like it said to do, and about an hour later the headache was gone. I did this almost every time I got one, until one week I noticed I was having a normal day no headache at all. I was so happy because I was feeling great. I really don't know why I had headaches all the time when I was a child, I could say it was because of stress.. but what kind of stress would I went through? I mean other than the little fact that my mom was a psycho at the time (she still has her moments but its better now) and I just had a lot on my mind I suppose.
Now I feel my headaches are starting to come back, I am older now I know how to take care of them easier, but for some reason the pills I am taking don't seem to help much. I remember not so long ago, bout maybe 3 months ago I went 2 weeks with a headache, non-stop. Granite it wasn't a bad enough headache to make me puke but they did make me week and feel like crap, and I also fell asleep a lot. I took pills for these headaches, and it only numbed most of the pain, not all of it though, I still had a hard time staying awake, and Still felt the pain in the back of my neck crunching away at my sanity, making me want to tear at my skin just to fake out the pain in my head.
Now I have a headache, this is a minor one at the moment, but it is one that I feel will be here when I wake up in the morning because I don't have nothing to take my mind off of it. The pills don't help. If only I had that magic pill that I took when I was younger. It would make all the pain.. just vanish *poof*

Advertisements
Hello everyone, today I am going to be talking about adverts and how they benefit people. As you know advertisements are the annoying little "Popup-ups" or side bars that tell you to click here for a product or something like that. Here lately Google has made their advertisements somehow related to what you search for. So for instance if you search for a pair of shoes a while back, you may get an advert later on on your side bar saying shoes half off or something like that.
When I was growing up I was taught to never click on advertisements because they were considered "Viruses" or "Spam". Well sometimes this is true, BUT, if you see something that you really want and it is displayed in an advert, and it looks legit enough it is safe to click on it to see what it is about. Maybe there is a product on there that you might want, or maybe it is just a cool website that you can go back to later. Here are a few tips for when you click on adverts.
1. Never download ANYTHING from an advertisement that says it will allow you to watch some video, because more than likely it is not a video codec but maybe it is spyware.
Definitely Avoid these because they are viruses |
2. If you are unsure about a website do a little research on it, Google it and ask if it is a legit site. Most of the time there are other people out there with your question, and it is even more likely that someone has dealt with them before.
Not sure, just ask. |
3. If there is something that seems too good to be true, chances are it is. If there is an advertisement saying you won a free car (or anything of that sort) chances are you have to do a million tasks just to get this "Free car" and those tasks may include inputting important information into their website. Avoid this.
Avoid these ads |
Remember Advertisements is the way some people run their websites, and keep their stuff going. So if there is something you like on a website and it is an advertisement don't be afraid to click on it, it might be worth your while.
(sorry if I jumped around a little, I have bad A.D.D and I get distracted easy, I am trying to fix it.) As always please comment and tell me what you think, subscribe if you can. Have a good one everybody.

Video games and my life.
Hey everyone. Does anyone play video games? A lot of people do, and some don't. Well here lately there was some sort of research trying to find out if video games are linked to depression. Personally I say no. I don't think that video games have much of anything to do with depression. I actually use video games as a way to cope with depression.
You may be wondering how that works? Well It takes me away from this crazy world that everyone else lives in and it throws me in the middle of a virtual environment that I can live out to my full potential, and do things I cannot do in real life. Maybe this is why I prefer to play RPG games or games with a decent story line in them, because I can be who I want to be and do what I want to do. It is like being something that I can deal with and cope with. I know this is unhealthy for the most part, but I look at it and see that real pain is no longer a factor in my life as long as I am staring down a screen of virtual monsters that keep me on edge constantly and then get a reward at the end for destroying them and saving the people that need saved. This is my virtual feel of accomplishment, I feel a bit happy for a few minutes.
Sometimes I am so deep into games that I forget to eat, and later I realize I am hungry but I just don't care. There are other things that I do to cope with depression, like hang out with people. I actually prefer this over video games because when I hang out with my friends I know that they are real people that have actual influence on my life that can make it better for me.
I will never misplace a virtual environment for the real deal, so you don't have to worry about me going around with a sword slaying bandits, or making random blocks of dirt to place down. I like crafting my life, what do you like to do? Please comment in the comment box and share it with your friends. I would like to know what you think. Thanks

Minecraft
Hello everyone that follows me on here, today I am going to be talking to you about my new addiction, Minecraft. Yes I play the game Minecraft, it is very fun to me. The reason I enjoy it so much is because in the game of Minecraft you can basically build whatever you want to and destroy what you want and make it as you like. I have always been one to enjoy sandbox games and stuff like that because they just interest me, the freedom to do basically whatever is physically possible within the environment of the game.
Does anyone remember the very first Red Faction game? This game was great because the sandbox in it was so great. If you couldn't get past a certain part of the game because of an enemy you would just blow holes through the walls and go around the enemy. Or if you wanted to make a trap you could blow out something and it would kill the guy underneath the falling debris. I miss games like that because they simply had almost everything going for them. If people made games that made it possible to actually destroy the environment of the game to advance to the next level this would be amazing, and I am sure it would bring the realism through the roof.
In games like Fallout, and Just Cause and all the super realistic looking games I believe that there should be blast damage when you throw a grenade or blow up a nuke. I mean I like the explosion factor and everything like that but what happened to the ground that was blown up? I would assume that it, or a chunk of the ground should be missing because of the exploding missile that vaporized all NPC's and Players within a 100 feet radius. Something else I think should be brought with games is that I think we should be able to blow up houses. I mean c'mon people why is it that we are so cheep in our games to not give us real-time damage effects to our surroundings?
Now (in my opinion) Minecraft brings me back to the realistic factor of it all. Yes I know that everything is square, and the physics of the whole game are not realistic when it comes to water and lava, but I think more modern games on the 360, and future games of computers should implicate what Notch put in his games with fully destructible environment. But of course we detail hungry people want it to be more "Pretty".
Hope you enjoyed my blog, please subscribe, and comment if you like. Thanks COMMENT PLEASE

Alternative Mindset
Time is melting away |
Well the reason I am writing this blog is because I want to start working out, but I really don't have the motivation or drive to do it. I mean I want to, but I keep thinking to myself that I cannot afford to go to the gym every day again, and I am too comfortable at home to actually go outside and jog around the block. I feel if I was in the environment of people that are breaking a sweat I might actually want to do what they are doing just to fit in. That was how it was when I was actually In the swing of going to the gym every other day. A few positive things about me going was that I got more energy (after the first few weeks) from it, I got fit, I was stronger, and I had a lot more self confidence in myself. Oh and I didn't get as many aches and pains as I did before. With the exception, of course, of the lactic acid build up in muscles, but that soon went away.
Should I do it now, or later? |
As always like, comment, and subscribe. I put a new subscribe button up in with the like button. Please sub for updates when I post. Have a good one!

Some more software you may find on my Windows7
All right, well everyone has different software on their computer. Some people have software they don't even know what it does, or why they even have it. On my computer I know nearly everything that I have and I have a special list on my backup drives that contain all the software I must have on my computer in order for my PC to run the way I prefer. Within the list I have anti-viruses, system cleaners, video editing software, video recording software, encryption software, and music/video software. In this blog I am going to be writing about some of that software that I need in order for my computer to run and do what I want it to do.
First I am going to be talking about one of the programs I use daily, and these are my web browsers. I currently have three web browsers on my computer. I have three web browsers on my computer because one cannot do what the other can do, and vice verca. The three I have on my computer is the usual Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and Google Chrome.
Internet Explorer- Well, the one and main reason I have IE on my computer is basically because it came with my computer. I really do not like to use this for much of anything, but I do have it set up for my homepage to go to my Kent State account, so if I want to do anything with my Kent State Collage stuff I just click on IE and it opens up. I also use IE to access certain Microsoft websites, because Chrome and Firefox are not compatible with some of their sites (which stinks, but oh well). Finally I use IE to download other web browsers. I know it sound's lame, but that is basically the only other good thing IE is good for, I have to admit, though, after the updates it has gotten better, but I still prefer Chrome and Firefox over it, they just feel better.
Mozilla Firefox- Well I hardly use this web browser either, but I still use it more than IE, simply because I like it better and it preforms the tasks I like out of it. Now I used to use Firefox when I was younger all the time (before Chrome came out) because it had apps. This was a new feature (to me) and it was intriguing for me to see what I can get and what made it look better than usual to impress my friends. I know that's lame, but it was true I liked Firefox because of it's ability to be customized so much. One of the add on's that I remember most with Firefox was Adblock Plus. This add-on made it possible to actually block ads. I didn't know back then that ads actually make money for people to run their sites, I just always blocked them because they were annoying and messed up my game, but now I don't block them because I am the one using ads now to make a little money on the side.
Yes Firefox is a good browser, but after a while it just started feeling heavy, it bugged out every now and then and it also started running extremely slower than normal. I believe it was from the add-on's (which is understandable because They do take more memory to run and stuff). I was trying to find something else, something better. Then one day in class I heard about Chrome.
Google Chrome- This is my default browser, I use Chrome all the time whenever I can. I am actually using a security enhanced version of Chrome called Comodo Dragon (link available by clicking the picture) This is basically like Chrome, but more secure. The reason it is secure is that there are more options available, it uses enhanced certificate validation, and warns you more directly when you are about to visit a website that has been claimed to be unsafe. There are more features to it but I am not going to go into it (It is also compatible with all chrome apps too). Chrome is a decent web browser for people who like to have a light weight browser with the option of adding on. What chrome basically is is just a web browser and nothing more (unless you want more). It starts out basic, and you can either keep it that way, or beef it up with games. It is your choice as to how you want to operate it.
For me chrome is faster than IE, and Firefox and it takes up less memory (depends on your apps too). I have recommended Chrome for many people. Yes Chrome is made from Google, but that does not mean you have to use the Google web search to find you things. You can change it to Bing, or Yahoo, or Ask, or whatever you want and when you want to search for something just type it in the bar that you type the website into and it will automatically do a Google, or Bing search for what you requested. Another neat feature with Chrome that I like is the ability to import browser data from another browser. What this means is, say you want to get Chrome, but you don't really want to because you have all your favorites, passwords (ect.) on your other browser and you don't want to retype all of them. With Chromes import ability Chrome does it automatically, so it is an easy switch over for you.
Now for the bad side of Chrome. (yes there is bad too) I have noticed that sometimes when I go to some places the flash player crashes unexpectedly, I am not sure why it does this but all you have to do is refresh the page and it is back. There are also some web pages that will not open because of their compatibility issues with chrome.

The Red Squiggly line
\
Hey guys, sorry for being late on this blog I have been busy with some "Stuff" I have to take care of, anyways here is my blog.HI EVERYONE. Have you ever been typing on Microsoft Word, and look back at your story/note you have been writing and notice that there is a red squiggly line under every other word you type? Well most people are like this and they see that they have made mistakes and just wait till the end of their article to correct it. Not me, call it OCD, or something but seeing that red squiggly line underneath a word just stops me dead sentence, and I have to go back and correct it. I don't know why, and I have this terrible habit of noticing the red line about 3 words after I am done typing them, and I literally backspace all the words to get to that one mistake and change the word until it is right, and if I cannot find the correct spelling of the word, I right click it and find it in the menu and remember it.
Red Squiggly Is like School for me |
In a way I am learning how to spell certain words that I never spelled before, and it is also helping me better understand how to type faster than I normally do because when I backspace all the words I try to type faster to make up missed time. Most people only experience this in Microsoft Word, or for them people who use Chrome they know what I am talking about, chrome has a spell-check feature on it too, granite it is not the greatest spell-check, but it does tell me what I spelled wrong and learn from it and correct it. This has actually rendered very useful, I now try to use apostrophes in my words to make them seem more grammatically correct and what not.
So all in all-
Dear Red Squiggly line,
I would like to thank you for teaching me how to write proper and thank you for showing me the right path to grammar and righteousness to the poetic speakings of myself, without you people would be reading this and be thinking to themselves "what the hell is this guy even saying" it has corrected so many of my mistakes and made me see the bright side of everything.
Thanks, Matt.
PS. If you were any other color I would ignore you.

Snow Days, What it meant to me then, and what it means to me now
Well, as you all know a snow day is a day in which a day is full of snow in your area and consequently no school. We have them for public safety reasons, so basically a bus full of kids are is not rammed by a driver that looses control on the icy roads, and well the same for the school bus.
Anyways to get on with my story, I used to always want snow days, no matter what I would always wake up and hope for snow, but when there was no snow I would be disappointed because I would have to go to another thrilling day of school. Sometimes I would wake up and there would be snow on the ground and I would be like YEAH! W00 and I would run to the TV hearing the sound of plows on the road excited looking for my school jumping up and down when it finally gets to the u's then see W's but my school wouldn't be there. I would be disappointed and go get ready and go to school. Everyone would be saying how we should of had a snow day but we didn't and all that stuff. Then there would be that occasional chance that we would get a snow day.. I would be happy, then go back to sleep.. haha what a way to spend my snow day.. sleeping.
I see the harsh Reality now |
Now that I am older, I look at snow days as if they were some terrible joke mother nature plays on us. I drive now, and my greatest fear is a wreck. Granite I have car insurance and stuff, but I just do not want to take that chance of injuring someone else (IDC if I get hurt..really I don't). Now that I have a 4 door car this means my car is heavier and more liable to slide int the snow and hit someone else. I mean I have not drove in the snow with my car yet.. but I don't want to take that risk right now.. I mean I have been in one accident, I don't want to get into another. So when I do drive I would make sure to drive very safely.
So I read this and think to myself, wow. I mean how can it be that someone can have such a drastic change of viewpoint in such a small time. I guess it comes with age, eventually I will be having a bad back and stuff. Haha Have a good one everyone.

Favorite Emergency Scanners/cleaners
All right, the last anti-viruses I mentioned were real-time anti-viruses. What that means is that if I open something that may be infected, then one of my two anti-viruses will pick it up and ask me if I want to allow, or deny the program access to my computer, or ask if i want to delete it. The Emergency Anti-Viruses do not have real-time scanning (Well it does, but you have to pay for it) so I basically use it when my computer is feeling sluggish, or I want to do a quick security scan to see what I have.
The first program I really like is Malwarebytes. I enjoy this scanner because it allows you to scan, and delete a virus. This scanner is also able to run in safe mode. What safe mode basically is, is a mode of the computer in which your Operating system only runs the bare essentials, most of the viruses that take over computers do not run in safe mode, so it is a safe bet that I can open Malwarebytes and scan my computer in safe mode. You may be asking yourself how can I get viruses that take over my computer if I already have two anti-viruses? Well like I said before, those two are free, and even though it is very rare that I get an attack on my computer that forces me to use safe mode and Malwarebytes, I still like to have it as a just in case thing. On average a full scan with Malwarebytes takes roughly an hour to two hours, but its detection system is great, and updated almost daily, or even every 2 to 3 days (not sure exactly) But That is my emergency program.
Now to clean out my cookies and stop people from accessing the important stuff on my computers through tracing cookies I use AdAware. Now I currently do not use this program, because it is kind of annoying to use because it always asks me to buy the full version, and well, I am cheep haha. So I do not really use it much, but when I am paranoid I start it up and run a scan on my computer to see what is going on, but other than that I have it disabled on start-up and do not really mess with it.
Another program I like to use is a program called Eraser. What this does is, it erases files from your computer permanently. Well you are probably asking me just use your recycle bin. Well yes this is true you can use the recycling bin for files you don't care about other people finding, because recycling your files does not permanently erase them, it just hides them and marks the sector that they were in as a 0 so they can be filled. There are programs that can bring back that file, but using eraser makes it near impossible to bring back the file because what it does is it overwrites the file you deleted 32 times (or however many times you want it to) so it cannot be recovered (well not very easily).
Finally my last program that I think is a must have for a clean PC (I save the best for last) is a nifty program called CCleaner, now this is not an antivirus or does not detect viruses, but it is a cleaner that scans your computer for unnecessary files like cookies and stored .tmp files on your computer that can be erased without harming your OS. Now I use this on a weekly bases, and every week it finds around 2Gb of erasable data on my computer, that is a lot of space for someone who is needing a couple hundred megabytes for some software they want. This is not even the best part of the program (though it is a good one) CCleaner has a registry cleaner, that erases unneeded registry files that clutter your registry. This may make your computer start up faster if it has a slow boot or something like that. CCleaner also has an easy to access uninstalling feature which allows you to uninstall programs from your computer, or remove the program from your add-remove list. There is a computer start up editor too, but I would not recommend the average computer user to mess with this. What it does is it enables or disables certain programs that turn on when you turn your computer on. There is also a drive wiper, but I have never used it because I want everything that is on my hard drives hahaha.

Favorite AntiViruses
Hello everyone, In dedication to being mentioned on the Chris Pirillo Live New Years Broadcast for 2012 I would like to tell you about some of my favorite computer software that I need on my computer for it to preform the way I want it to.
All right now first I would like to talk about anti-viruses, I have two of them. The first one I have is Microsoft Security Essentials. I like it because for one, it is free, and two is because it has a nifty little feature on it that lets you modify how much CPU load it uses when it is doing a scan, so this makes it so you can scan, and run programs like normal. I normally have this set at 50 percent, just so it doesn't effect my games(all that much), or videos I watch on Youtube.
My second anti virus/Firewall is a nifty little program called Comodo AntiVirus/Firewall (this is also free). I like this program because of its spyware detector, its sandbox, and the firewall it has. The sandbox mode enables me to run a program in a virtual environment that restricts access to actual files on the computer, and when you exit the program from the sandbox it basically erases all traces of the file being in use. So for example, if you want to go to a website, but you are unsure it is safe you can run the web browser in the sandbox and go to it, and if it is a virus then all you have to do is exit the browser from the sandbox and everything it put in the virtual environment will be erased. Cool program if I don't say so myself.
The reason I enjoy the firewall so much is because there is a list of programs that are accessed to the internet, and you can actually stop the traffic on that specific program/port. I know you can do this with other firewalls, but I believe Comodo has a more "User Friendly" version of this.
Now you may be wondering why do I have 2 anti viruses? and why isn't your computer slow as all get out? and how do they not interfere with each other causing the blue screen/ or problems? Well what I did was them both up so they do not scan certain files that contain the anti virus its self, because most anti-viruses detect other anti viruses as a virus, thus causing the infamous crash. My computer does not run slow basically because it is a quad core I7 PC, and it would take a lot more than 2 anti-viruses to slow it down.
Well this is on my anti-virus/firewall programs if I could choose only one I believe for the average user I would choose Security Essentials simply because it is easy to use, and does basically everything for you without annoying pop ups asking you if a file is safe or not, it knows!
haha Have a good one everyone, Comment and or subscribe to my blogs, I am going to be writing another blog soon about some more software I like on my computer

What do you Eat during New years?
Hello Everyone, This is a question I have been pondering upon over and over in my head.. What is it that everyone eats during new years? For my family it has almost always been Sauerkraut and kielbasi I have seen this tradition with other people too, but I just am curious what are some other things that people eat during new years? I mean there has to be other things.
The reason I ask basically is why is it that Sauerkraut is so popular that the stores that I went to to pick up Sauerkraut were sold out of it.. and well if someone cannot get Sauerkraut , what would they get then..? would they just not eat? or would they make hamburgers and stuff like that.. oh and Where does the ball drop in other parts of the country for different time zones.. I know I can probably look all this up but it is nice to let people know what is going on in my head.. kind of scary isn't it? hahaa
